Willy Nelson's pre-war Martin acoustic guitar - photo taken in the recording studio<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I had the honor of photographing Willie Nelson at his recording studio while shooting for a Buckwheat Zydeco album.<\/h4>\n

Willie entered the studio after playing golf on the course that conveniently surrounds Pedernales Recording Studio in Spicewood, Texas.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0He greeted everyone then went into the studio and picked up his guitar and laid down three versions of the track.\u00a0\u00a0Each run was unique and brilliant.\u00a0\u00a0I was stunned by his virtuosity of his playing.\u00a0\u00a0His talent is amazing.\u00a0\u00a0I never really thought of him as a guitar player, but more of a singer songwriter.\u00a0\u00a0He gave me a quick education without uttering a word.<\/p>\n
