This portrait was taken on the corner of Elm and Crowdus in the mid 1980&#8217;s. The band played on the street while I shot them from a ladder. I call this guerilla location shooting and since there was never much of a budget this became a common technique of mine. The shoots have an extra edge to them when the location is scary or dangerous.
